Learn how to engage your dog's mind and body
Intro to Agility
As of January 5, 2019
2018 was action packed with many wonderful classes. Very sadly, there was a huge personal loss of all three of my beloved dogs. Two passed within the same week, and my last boy passed just recently. I've had these beautiful creatures for up to 11 years.
2019 classes will begin in Spring/Summer. Thank you for your patience and please contact me to find out about schedules then.
Saturday mornings from 10:30 am – 11:30 am
*Please note that there is equipment set-up and dismantling required by those participating in the class. Therefore, classes are 45 – 60 minutes in duration.
July 7, 14, 21, 28, August 11, 2018 (5 weeks)
*No classes on long weekends or statutory holidays.
Maximum 6 dogs + owner pairs
Why should I take this class?
Agility is a great way to exercise your canine’s body and mind, while also having a little fun yourself.
From day one of this five week course, every class will introduce a fun new piece of agility equipment for you and your dog to work on. This ensures your dog is always comfortable with each obstacle and builds confidence every lesson.
Together, you will learn to use weave poles, teeter-totter, tunnels, tire jump, plank (the Dog Walk), A-frame and pause-box. You will master jumps and weaves, building your relationship and team work, all while having a lot of fun doing it.
You will never be bored and your dog will learn new confidence-boosting skills, leaving every class happy and completely exhausted!
Why not inject some fun into your dog’s routine? Come out and give it a try!
For participation in our Agility Class, some basic obedience skills are necessary. Dogs must be social and friendly and over six months of age.
